PokePark AU Fanon: Emmarisu's Story Chapter 13
After much thinking, Emmarisu decided to see the other members of the Wish Palace. She didn’t want to, but she also didn’t want to be with Cofagrigus at the moment. Emmarisu felt nervous, afraid of what the rest of the Crew would think of her. She almost turned back, but decided to just get it over with. If she was going to stay, she would have to familiarize herself with the other Pokemon, not just the place she was in. She took a breath, then scurried down the hall, remembering where she last heard the voices. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Emmarisu found herself back at the throne room, hiding herself behind the stair rails, watching and listening to the Pokemon talking. It wasn’t the best hiding place since the stair rails were pretty small and not that tall, but she had no other choice. It was clear she would be possibly get spotted but the others were too busy focusing on the speaker to notice her (that’s what she

Emmarisu walked along the hallways once again, starting to slowly familiarize herself with the interior. Sure she only saw very few locations in the Palace, but it was progress. As she walked, she heard a voice call out to her. “Emmarisu? Can I speak with you?” The voice was feminine and familiar sounding. She turned around and saw Gothitelle, giving her a small wave. Instinctively, Emmarisu turned her head away, feeling shame crawling inside her. “It’s all right, I’m not here to yell at you. I would just like to apologize,” Gothitelle said. “O-okay….” Emmarisu managed to say. Gothitelle slowly approached the small Pachirisu, and Emmarisu tried her best not to run off. There was no point if the air between them was going to be cleared. Once the Psychic-type Pokemon was face to face with the Electric-type Pokemon, she said her apology. “I apologize for causing a fight earlier on. I did not mean to, I was only doing my job. Master Darkrai told me about you once he left you

Emmarisu stayed curled underneath the futon for hours. Or what seemed like hours. She wasn’t so sure, but she didn’t care as she just wanted to be alone. Her mind replayed the scene where Cofagrigus grabbed her in order to prevent her from throwing the children’s book that gave her painful memories. He did not hurt her, but her mind made her think otherwise. Part of her knew that he grabbed her so she wouldn’t ruin something that belonged to the Palace, but another part made her think that he did because she was being bad, like a child throwing a temper tantrum. It wasn’t her fault that the stupid book gave her that memory, it was all his fault! If only he didn’t change…. Emmarisu shook her head as she thought that blaming her sorry excuse for a father seemed like a waste of time. She wanted to think very little of him, now that she finally had a small sense that she was safe, but it was difficult. “Hello?” Cofagrigus’ voice pierced through the darkness of the cover. She

Emmarisu wandered the halls of the Palace, wondering what to do next. She was still amazed by the candles that lit the walls; it still gave her the warm fairy-tale-like vibe. As she wandered, she thought back to moments ago, after she had finished her food and (unfortunately) chatted with Cofagrigus. “I’m glad you enjoyed the food. If you stay here, you’ll have more where that came from!” “Who said anything about me staying here?” “I don’t know, I just assumed you would be. The master gave you permission too, right?” “.....A little. But I’m thinking about it. I haven’t made my decision yet.” “Ah okay. But please consider it. It’s very fun here, once you get used to it.” She shook her head, remembering the last sentence. Fun? She wasn’t really having much fun staying at the Palace. However she did feel safe. That alone relaxed her. “Maybe I should stay after all,” she mumbled softly to herself. She continued walking down the long hallway when she spotted a specific room.

PokePark AU Fanon: Emmarisu's Story Chapter 9
Once Emmarisu made it to the kitchen, the first thing she did was look for the food Cofagrigus made her. After a bit of searching, she spotted a big round plate on the table, wrapped in plastic. Her eyes lit up as she made her way to the table. She then sat down, taking a closer look at the food. On the plate was a cheese omelet with a bunch of small potatoes on the side. Gently touching the plastic, she felt a warm sensation on her paw, indicating that the food was still warm. Her stomach growled, prompting her to carefully unwrap the plastic. Her nostrils were greeted by the smell of the warm omelet. She couldn’t wait any longer, so she took the fork that was next to the plate, stabbing the food, resulting in a mess of gooey melted cheese leaking out from the side. The sight alone made her drool. She picked up the knife, swirling the stringy cheese around her fork like it was a spaghetti noodle and bit into it. It was delicious, probably the best warm food she had in ages. Once
